We had a wonderful time as we do every year. This year we brought a few extra family members and they had a blast. We visited Deer Park and of course fed the fish. We also went to Erie for the day to Presque Isle to swim at the beach. The fire pit is a nice wind down for the night along with ice cream at the Yorkies.

Although I had spent many weeks up there when I was
young with my parents and sibling, my family had never
spent a week in the Pymatuning area. My entire family (my
wife, my twin 17 year old daughters, my 15 year old
daughter my 12 year old son and my 10 year old daughter)
spent the week at the Walnut cabin. It was fantastic.
The cabin was clean, equipped and roomy enough for all
seven of us. There wasn't one complaint.
I was able to bring my boat. My son and I spent many quiet
hours fishing the lake. He also spent a lot of time in the
nearby woods chasing frogs and other critters. My
daughters and my wife enjoyed walking the woods,
swimming and exercising. They really enjoyed combing the
yardsales and traveling to Linesville to visit the shoppes.
The entire family loved the backyard where we cooked out
and spent hours around the fire making smores and hotdogs
and just talking, something our busy lives seem to prevent
when we are at home. We had plenty of time to just
enjoy each other's company in a peaceful, comfortable
place.
We would strongly recommend the cabin to any family that
wants to get away and spend valuable time together. It may
not be a five star New York hotel room but it was certainly
five star accommodations for us. It was just what our family
needed!

Like most families, we live a life that requires juggling. Working full-time, raising four kids, participating in school events, playing sports, and so forth keeps us busy, stressed, and distracted. We soon realize that our focus is on what's truly important: Family. That's why the your Pymatuning Cottage has been more than our chosen vacation spot for over five years.
The cottage has all of the charm of a country getaway: wood-paneled walls, tree swing, large yard, with a lot of modern conveniences including cable TV, air conditioning, DVD player, and much more. The three-bedroom cottage easily accommodates a family of six.
The cabin is a short drive away from all the Pymatuning tourist destinations that we enjoy, including the Spillway, Jamestown Deer Park, Jamestown Dam, the beach, and fishing. The property has a large outdoor concrete porch canopy with a gas grill.
We enjoy the hanging yellow light that enables us to play games and cards in the evening. Our kids love to ride bikes, hunt for frogs, and just enjoy the outdoors. As a family of six, price is always a factor, and your cottage is affordable-- we get way more comfort, convenience, and privacy for our dollar than most vacation spots. The only amenity I'm personally missing is a tub to luxuriate in, but I'm more than appreciative of the shower when my kids come in dirty and smelly from playing outside all day.
I'm grateful for the memories my family has made and will continue to make at the your cottage.

What a lovely and quite cottage you have, Michael’s first comment was “I could live hear!” Fishing was great every day, caught lots of Largemouth Bass a few Crappies! Thank you for sharing this very cozy cottage and we hope to enjoy it again!

We had a great time, we rented a boat and went fishing. We went to the Beach, we ate at the Covered Bridge , and had Yorkies ice cream. Went to Causeway to see the fireworks. We went to Waldemere for a day, my niece loves the swing!

The cottage is full equipped. So nice to stay here for a family. The picnic area, fish cleaning station and fire place is always an extra bonus. We come for fishing and to be able to relax and basically be provided with a luxury of home. We cooked spaghetti steak pies Smore’s hamburgers etc. Loved being the first using the new toaster! Close to the lake. One thing, you might have an extra small TV for the bedroom. You asked for pros and cons that’s the only thing I could suggest. We loved meeting Wes and Barb are very nice people! The cottage Decor is really cute. Thank you guys for the wonderful accommodations.

We have been staying at the cottage on Walnut St. For several years now and it is always very clean and comfortable. I would rate our vacation as five stars. We had been coming to this area for a few years before finding Wes's place. I am so happy we found it. We come to the Pymatuning Lake area to enjoy the fishing. The cottage is a big bonus with two driveways and a fish cleaning area plus covered back patio. It is a very safe area with plenty of eating places nearby. Thank you Wes and Barbara for providing such a nice place.

Wes, It was nice to be able to meet you, during our stay. The cottage is very nice, well kept, clean and has everything to make our stay as convenient as staying in our own home. The area and cottage was great for the children. The fish cleaning table is a great idea and makes it neat and hassle-free. We are enjoying the quietness when outdoors since we live on a very busy street.
